The Industrial Training Institute, Bhandaripokhari was established in the year 2022 to meet the increasing demand of craftsman in the nation by providing Craftsmen Training Scheme(CTS). As a new Age Institute and being the only Government Institution in the district of Bhadrak, It aims the upskilling of youth by advanced vocational training methodologies with new technology, machineries and equipments thus by shaping the technical career of them towards job oriented prospectives and nation building.
This institute has been established by Skill Development & Technical Education Department, Govt of Odisha and runs under the academia control of NCVT , prescribed by DGE&T, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Govt. of India, New Delhi with possession of new dimension at this stage after it's commencement in respect of infrastructural facilities with hostel facility for both boys and girls, a beautiful environment for training, well equipped sophisticated workshopss and theory class rooms for 6 different trades with IT Lab, library for improving the technical as well as communication skill of the trainees .
The Institute focuses not only on the academic prosperity of the trainees but also gives emphasis on their sports and physical activities thus by organizing and preparing them to participate in the Regional level as well as State level ITI-Fest in Sports ,athletics and cultural backgrounds.
The Institute runs under the administrative advice of a Governing Body (GB)
